I'm new to the program so please be gentle. I placed some windows without first selecting a layer for them. They came in on 'Walls Exterior' layer and now I cant seem to move them. I have tried 'Edit Selection Set' but when I choose Glazing layer the selected windows remain on the 'Walls Exterior' layer. Also when the Window tool is selected there is no Layers button like there is for walls and other tools? What is going on? I'm using ArchiCAD 19. Thanks

In the Model View Options Dialog you can set the Doors Options/Window Options to show them on plane with or without Markers, show only the opening or hide the Door/Window.

Thanks for the info. I'll try other methods to achieve the desired result.

But while I'm on the subject; does any one know how to flip the stock Trapezoidal window that comes with the program so that the sloping side reverses orientation? I have searched and searched and cant figure it out.
You should add a Signature to your Profile (click the Profile button near the top of this page) with your ArchiCAD version and operating system (see mine for an example) for more accurate help in this forum.

Ivan wrote:Check out this short video in which you can see how you can use Renovation Filters to show "Design Options":
The desired result was to have two different fenestration schemes all in one file. i.e. turn one window style off and the other on.
This will work best if you do not use the Renovation Filters for Renovation purposes in that file.
