How can i adjust the Zones without using the wall to wall tool? Lets say i just wanted to choose a small area in a room, how can i grab the corners of my zone stamp and add, subtract, or stretch....? Is there a way to turn on hotspots for the zone tool? I cant seem to find it?

You can edit a zone the same way you can edit a slab or any of the other polygonal tools. Select it, click on the edge or corner and use the pet palette to reshape it.

Make sure your SET MODEL VIEW options are showing the ZONE FILLS... Note that you can also change the MODE of the zone from LIMITED BY WALLS to POLYGONAL.

Although this is outdated advice for AC11...

In other files, i've had no problem grabing the edges, but with this new project, for some reason, it wont let me grab the edges of the zone stamp, only the name marker.... I tried turning on zones in the model view, but that didnt change anything...there are no hot spots on the edges to grab....

sorry, I was channeling Autocad for a second. Yes, it's fit to window.

I know the same Zone Stamp is selected... my question was if the Zone was maybe covering a different room than you expect. It's possible the Zone is either covering a really small area that you are not seeing or that the Zone Stamp is far removed from the room it applies to.

no, I have an open floor plan, so it pretty much covered most of the floor, and I used the split tool to cut up the zone into different areas... but the problem is still that i have not place to grab the edges of each zone. Their where I want them, but if I wanted to add, or manipulate the zone I cant.
