Make sure your SET MODEL VIEW options are showing the ZONE FILLS... Note that you can also change the MODE of the zone from LIMITED BY WALLS to POLYGONAL.

2) zoom extents

What is Zoom Extents? Is that fit to window? because that didnt do anything..the same zone is still selected..
I know the same Zone Stamp is selected... my question was if the Zone was maybe covering a different room than you expect. It's possible the Zone is either covering a really small area that you are not seeing or that the Zone Stamp is far removed from the room it applies to.
