Zooming to a Mesh

Hi,
I have worked in both the PC and Mac environment with ArchiCad. Recently I upgraded my G3 Tower to a PB G4 with AC 8.1 and for some reason when I zoom into a selected mech in the 3D window, none of the ridge points are visable in the zoomed view. The mesh is still selected, but I can't see the points. This seems to happen only on my Mac.
Anyone else run into this?

It sounds like a display driver problem, but I have had no such trouble with my PowerBook 17". I have the GeForce4 MX w/64MB vram. If you have one of the newer machines it is probably the ATI 9600.
