Sadly, not in plan view. For many years, this has been a much-wished-for feature.
You can fake it with a top down 3D document, but if you really need a plan view with section lines, etc., that won't really help.

There is one workaround and that is to create 2 views.
The first is a 3D doc showing just the beam layer.
The second is a floor plan view.
Place and align on the layout and you have coloured beams
