camera height wont save ?

hi guys.
i have setup a camera.
when i click on its properties, i type in 2.2 meters instead of the default 1.7 meters.
i close the property box and the view changes.

THE PROBLEM IS.
when i go back to the same camera window later, it has reverted to the old 1.7 meter height?

very annoying.
any ideas where i can save this camera height ?

Are you clicking on the "apply" button at the bottom of the camera settings palette?

The camera tool is a bit quirky since it had a non-modal settings palette before the info palette was introduced and thus behaves differently from other tools.
