cant see windows on plan suddenly...need help pls

hello

I drew walls and put window and door inside....BUT ...sudenly I can`t see the windows on the plan!! I see it on 3d view....and if I want to draw a window it will but then I can`t see it marked on plan !!! what is the problem????

Check your MVOs - Model View Options.

thanx ...what where is that? I tried to see the "view"---"on screen view options" and don`t know what`s the problem is.

well ..I tried also in documents "set model view"....all is checked...
I cant see the windows on the plan !!! I didn`t touch anything...

why?

check your floor plan cut plane settings !
If floor plan cut plane is not passing trough your window, then window will not represented on floor.

sorry...but how can I get the "floor plan cut plane settings" ?
I am new in Archicad 12 and don`t know how to access it.

when you work in archicad press F1 and you will be able to accses archciad help. Read it !
in archciad help search for floor plan cut plane

In the Organizer, select a plan View in the View Map and click on the Settings button at the bottom of the View Map.

In this Settings Box click on the Floor Plan Cut Plane Settings Box.

In the archicad Help Menu you can look in Help or the Reference Guide to find the explanation for the various settings.

Just one more little thing.
When you set the Floor Plan Cut Plane in a view, it is for that view only,
which is in the long term quite helpful as you can have a different Cut Plane for each view.
If you don't remember that, you'll be wondering why something disappeared again when you have activated a different view from the view map.
