cheap trick roof and slab intersection

Anonymous
Not applicable
Slabs/floors that intersect a roof can generate a little triangle in section/elevation views. My cheap trick is to fill in the pesky triangle with a couple small chunks of slab, each one a little shorter than it's neighbor. I stick them on a layer like "roofs" which is hidden except for when I am doing 3D modeling. Maybe some day slabs will trim to roofs at an angle

They already do if you use Solid Element Operations.

Solid Element Operations (SEO) is the solution, but using a Solid (White) Fill with a white Outline is a better solution than creating many little slabs. Bring this 2D object to the Front. I do not use patches (are they still used), but if SEO is not an option than using patch might be a solution in some cases.
