composite walls and how they look in section

Hi

I have a composite wall construction that is quite detailed in the plan view.

however I would like this wall to look "basic" in the section views that are created with it. ie just a solid line for the inside and outside of the line.

Is it possible to have these 2 contrasting views?

Thanks in advance.

At the moment the best way to achieve this is by using different model view option combinations in each view.

You can also use different pensets for each view, and change the unwanted skins to white in the section view, but this is a workaround that involves more work to set up.

It's been a longstanding wish to be able to show the composites core only, but it is not available yet.

Cheers,

It sure would be a nice feature to have!

The quick alternative is to set your Model View Options so your building sections show solid cut fills instead. You'll still have to do some cleaning up at intersections of walls and slabs.
