crashing in teamwork/unable to sign back in

Anonymous
Not applicable
we have crashed a few times while signing into a team project-when this happens we are unable to sign back in as the program is still trying to process the login of the user who has crashed. This is true even when trying to open backups too. Any Suggestions?

Delete the .LCK file, which should be sitting next to your Teamwork .PLP file.

when a user is running any process that interfaces directly with the teamwork 'master' file - the PLP - archiCAD places a lock file - LCK - in the same folder as the PLP. it prevents anybody else accessing the file until the first user has finished.

if that users crashes, the lock remains in place and has to be deleted manually . . .
