custom stair

I try to creat the stair. I know first I need to use fill tool to draw the shape --> then draw the path --> group them together--> click create new stair. It works one time, but now it keep pop out the window below. Please tell me what did I do wrong?

How did you solve the problem. I have created many custom stairs and suddenly, after the latest update, I too got the same warning dialog box. I was not able to resolve the problem. What am I doing Wrong????

Well, I figure I was use polyline to draw the path which is wrong. I should use line tool. :oops: So after I switch back to use line tool the problem solve.

That did not work for my stair. I was making a custom angle, winder. The path was 2 lines and one arc.
Anyone else having problems with the stair tool?

Do you group all of the line and arc together, before you make stair?
