"Classic" 81 Doors & Windows

Why is there a Windows 81 and a Windows Classic 81 Library (Doors 81 & Doors Classic 81) folder within the 81 Library? Why would I want Classic 81? And how does AC 8.1, only a few months old already have "Classic" objects?
