drainage slope on concrete slab

I used this procedure today and thought that I could share it for further comments.
It was used in concrete roofs and also exterior spaces…
Sorry about the poor illustration and my bad English…
A. Draw a slab. Select the mesh tool and click on the existing slab using the magic wand. (image 1)
B. Try to make the outline of the mesh tool as simple as possible (in the example a rectangle)(image 2)
Keep in mind that it represents the inclined surfaces of the roof so unnecessary points will complicate your work. You still have the option to adjust the outline at the end.
C. Create roof ridges with lines. Select your mesh; activate the mesh tool and magic-wand click on each ridge. (image 3)This step can be skipped to step D sometimes.
D. Adjust the height of each point on your mesh.(image 4)
(you can always use level dimensions with the mesh gravity to view heights in plan(image 5)
Image 6: mesh and concrete slab should in section ..
E. Select your mesh and from tools menu -create roofs from mesh (image 7,8 )
Delete or place in a hidden layer your mesh . Now you can transform the outline of the roof corresponding to the outline of the slab.
F. Select the created roofs and apply the composite that represents your slab coatings (Sealing insulation etc)
NOTE. You should choose as lower skin the lightweight concrete or other material which forms the inclination of your roof.(image 9) Make it’s height bigger than the actual , since we are going to subtract it. Any other material placed below this, should be part of the slab composite.
G. In section the roofs and the slab are superimposed (image 10)
H. In the 3d window select the roofs as target objects and slab as the operator and subtract with downwards extrusion.(image 11)
Section fixed.(image 12)
