how to align drawing with grid lines

i added background grid lines and was trying to align grid lines onto the background lines with snap on. i just can't get it .

please help.

The grid originates from the project 0,0. You will need to move the elements to sit on the grid instead of the trying to move the grid to the elements.

Alternatively you could set your skewed grid's origin to the desired location and make to rotation angle 0 degrees (Options>Grids & Background), but that's really not the best way.
