I don`t know why am not able to see the material I am using in the 3d!!!after taking a render I can see it!!
May I know how can I show the material!!

Go to View - 3d view modee - 3d window settings
then press Modee and choose between Wireframe, hidden or shading
your selected option is probably Wireframe and you have to choose other depending what 3d engine you use .
If u use Opengl - then select Shading like in pic.

Another possibility:
Check in the Layer Settings Dialog to see if the Layer the element is on is set to Wireframe.

Sounds to me like the material was set up for Lightworks but not the internal engine? The internal engine textures display in the OpenGL window (or in renderings with the internal engine). The LW materials only show up in a LW rendering.
