The best way is the quickest one that gets you the result you want.
Trussmaker is quick and easy, but has some minor quirks and is limited in the shapes it can produce. Try it first. It's worth knowing what it can do even if it ends up falling short in this case, and it won't take much time.
If necessary it is not too hard to model the trusses as slabs, etc. and save them as library parts. Depending on the design (number of unique trusses) this could be fairly easy or quite a chore. The upside is you can make them as detailed as you want. The down side is that you have to revise the source and resave each truss in case of revisions.
The other option is parametric parts. Unless you are fairly adept at writing GDL, this only works if you can find suitable parts in the library or on the web. Of course if it is very important and has the budget for it you could also hire it done. This would probably require that you have an ongoing need for such parts.
