modifying detail and worksheet marker profiles

How do I modify a detail and worksheet callout marker profile after its already been placed?

Just a Guess at what the problem is;

Under View
On-Screen View Options
select
Show Marker Range

and you will be able to edit the boundary of the detail/work sheet marker.
