offset and perpendicular shortcut missing?

in ArchiCAD 9 , there was a shortcut for offset and perpendicular tool. from "relative construction method"

Offset/Multiple Offset - O - This command turns on and switches between Offset and Multiple Offset Mouse Constraint options.
and
Parallel/Perpendicular - P - This command turns on and switches between Parallel and Perpendicular Mouse Constraint options.

in ArchiCAD 10, I cannot find them. there are very usefull.
when I want to draw a line, parallel with another, at a certain distance, I simply press "O" and then "R" for distance
now, in AC10, I must reach the icon with mouse, and then press "R"

it is more time spent.
and also, I didn't find anything at Work Environmet-> shortcuts . I cannot define a shortcut for this.

does anyone know anything about this?
how to define a shortcut? or if there is one?

The setup requires using "Keyboard Shortcuts" - all commands alphabetical..

Attached is the list.

Try using the guidelines. The explicit parallel and perpendicular commands are nearly automatic now.

thank you Dwight ... it works

I will, Matthew.
Thank you very much.

You might also consider turing back on the control box which will indicate the "toggle" of the parallel or offset. Remember you can import your previous shortcut from 9.

Using the shortcut already does toggle - but certainly the new guidelines help make perpendicular and parallel axes as easy as pixies dancing on the work surface.

Nothing to add to the initial question - answered. The related issue is that many experienced (power) users find it useful to keep the coordinate and control palettes visible, as in prior versions, since the tracker and toolbars do not provide 100% equivalent functionality and/or feedback... Of course, if you have a low screen resolution (below the recommended minimum 1280 x 1024), you may want to keep them off anyway to have a bigger work area.

It will take existing users a while to customize their Work Environment to reach a happy transition, IMHO. 😉

Right.

Like, finally we are given quick and gestural "drafting" aids, having learned years ago to sublimate the more cryptic shortcuts for those functions, and can't cope with simplicity.

Old dog. New trick.

Bow wow.
