offset the curve line

how to offset the curve line or spline, like we do in Auto cad ?

First forget autocad way (we do not "do in autocad" here) 😉

Second find the offset modifier either in control palete or in the menu
having switched it on draw a line circle or so (probably will not work on splines but I so not use them a lot) tracing the original with either magic wand or having the spacebar pressed and clicking on original.
After that You will be prompted for the distance of the offset.

The advantage of the Archicad offset over the Autocad one is that we can create any object using the original shape not only offseted the copy of the original pline spline or so in autocad.

Best Regards,

You can offset spline with circle directly. Just select circle tool, click offset and with space click on the spline.

PS: In some situations I would like to have the autocad offset. Not often but sometimes.
