Trace Palette is missing!

A coworker opened a V9 teamwork file and converted it into V11. Somewhere in the change, his entire Trace Palette went missing. I tried to have him go to Work Environment and find it from there, but it is missing entirely. I opened work environment on my computer and I found it, and when he did the same, it is not there. He can, however, right click on a view and have it bring the trace up, but then he can not shut it off. Any ideas on what's happening???

If he brought in his work AC9 work environment it will need to be added to be visible.
Or are you saying it is not available as an option to include in your work environment?
As a check, try setting your WE to the default [US] AC11 WE and see if it is available.
