positioning walls in AC10 when using "pick up parameter

AC10 floor plan : picking up parameters of wall A for adding walls B/C/..., gives me a bizarre result :

no extra walls added on the current floor plan, instead, all walls are drawn on the story above !

This behavior to be seen with wall settings "... cm below story" and "projected with overhead".

Quick search on the forum didn't help, so obviously I'm the only one doing something wrong?
