problem with setting story level tool

Hello People,

I have a project which is about 3 buildings situated on an angled ground. (see Attactments - elevation)

My problem is when I use the story level oo to generate the floor plans. I cannot get all the floor plans show up correctly. The building C is hidden and only show building A and B. How can I make building C to show up as well?
The heights and RL levels of building A and C are too different. how can I draw them on the same floor plan and what can I do with Story Level tool? what height of level (building A or C) should I set for each floor level then? If I set building A's story height as 2.700, but becoz of building Cs RL's 2000 higher than building A, plus its floor level height sould be 3.900. (see Attactments - floor plan)

I've been tried to work with story level tool, but I still cannot find the way to draw building on different ground level and different floor height on each level. Please help me! And I'm very appreaciate for your time and advice. Thanks!

Sounds like the cut plane is getting in your way. To bypass it, you can set all of your walls to Symbolic Cut only. Play with that and see how you go. You may have to make similar changes to other elements.

Thanks Link and Whatever!

I found the FPCP tool but I never used this before. Would you please tell me a bit more details for me?

How can I set all my walls to Symbolic Cut only? I tried to draw the building C's wall height as 3900 and offset from the ground floor 2000, and I set FPCP as story below 700 but still its still not changed to balck solid walls but dash lines...

Thank you once again! : )

These settings work well for single story vertical walls at any elevation. For special walls (sloping, multi-story, etc) you may need to adjust them.

Good luck.
