I deleted your 'wish' poll that GS fix "this bug" ...as it was completely inappropriate. Either post your file or MOD here as requested earlier for someone else to analyze, or submit it to GS US tech support. At this point, there is no confirmed bug to be making wishes about.

UPDATE - This did not fix problem after all - nice try! It reverted to precious behavior. I will take this up with tech support and let you know what result is.

My apologies. I did not understand that bug fixes were not appropriate for wish list. I will also try tech support, as per your suggestion. Thank you for removing, though now no one will know what this thread is about. I refer anyone who is interested to:

Bug fixes are appropriate if GS indicates that they do not wish to fix a confirmed bug. Your bug is not confirmed. If you had responded to my first request, I might have confirmed it and gotten it into the bug system. Please contact your reseller, Chris Clark, and GS US tech support and do not use upper case (shouting) red letters here, etc here.
I fail to see how anyone will not know what this thread is about? You have explained, and repeated yourself often enough.
Let's move forward, OK?

Inconsistent vectoral shadows used to be a bug in AC 9 and earlier, but has been fixed for some time now, so it is likely a problem in your model...unless it got broken again.

It's back as far as I can tell. Please see attached.

Please let GS support know. They may need to have a copy of your file unless you can reproduce it with something simple.
Cheers,
Karl
