"Errors Occured During Last Operation"

While changing materials on a number of walls today, I received the above less than helpful error message. Ever since, the 3D window has bogged down and I'm receiving the same message whenever redrawing. Anybody have an idea of how to fix this?

I've been getting this message since I first started using ArchiCad, about 5 months ago. I've tried all of the above proposed solutions, nothing seems to work. I just ignore it. Maybe it does slow down the 3D window, but I guess I don't know the difference.

I'd like to get rid of it too, it is an annoyance, especially when doing a walk through with cameras. It comes up on every window.

Tom,

I'm glad to hear (sorry!) there's someone else experiencing this. Maybe this will help track down the culprit. I thought I had discovered that it only came up when my ArchiTerra mesh layer was active, however today it happened with the layer hidden. When the AT layer is active I get probably 30 such error messages in succession. Today with the layer hidden, I only got 3 or 4, but it happened twice. Are you using AT? Or do you have an AC mesh layer active when it occurs? Is there anything else you have discovered trying to solve the problem? It's more than a nusiance to me--it makes re-gen of the 3D window a huge pain, as I have to OK each error window.

Dave,

Do you have the "Interrupt with error messages" turned on in the your preferences? If so turn it off. It is pointless and annoying. If errors occur it is enough to see them in the report window.

Right. Thank you for reminding me, Matthew.

Dave:

I do use ArchiTerra. However, this message occured before I purchased the program, and occurs on a computer that does not have AT on it.

And I will also turn off the "interrupt with error messages" .

Hope you can figure it out, cause I've given up.

Just checked; actually, the selection of interrupt with error messages is already turned off. I still get the error message.

Go figure.

My solution to this problem was to install a little freeware app called "Push The Freakin' Button". You can easily program this app to digitally push any button on any dialog that comes up. I use it for every dialog in any program that I consistently click the same button, such as "OK" on the error dialog you are talking about. I have about 20 different "watches" set up.

No, it doesn't actually solve the problem, but I have yet to see this particular error reveal any problem (that I know of) other than the annoying dialog.

If you want to try this program, you can get it at:
