roof lines not selectable

i have drawn a roof and i see my roof but it will not let me select it. all layers are turned on and unlocked can anyone help

This also sounds like a ghost problem. Do you have Element Info tags turned on in your Work Environment? If so, what does it say when you hover over an edge of it? There's also a chance that it is locked, as an element via the Edit menu, not just the layer.
