Hi,

You can save it
1. from a side view as a gdl object (file/gdl objects/save selection as) or you can save it

2. as a gdl object in the floor plan using the same path and completing the GDL 3d script with: roty 90 (written in the first line of the script)
and replacing the 2d script with: project2 3, 270, 2

Regards,
Ede Abos

P.S. The picture below shows You the first way

Take a look at FrameWright - it includes tools to quickly make objects with custom profiles and rotate and cut them freely in 3D.

Ede Abos, I have one more question. If I want to post gong's picture, how to do it? Because when we make our own material, it's always square image. BUT Gong is circular. I don't know how to make it work. Could you teach me? Thank you!

3D studio max can render ArchiCAD's model? I also know 3D studio MAX. Can you teach me how to transfer the model to 3D studio max? Thank you!
