any way to make a stair with a curved inner landing? (on the picture where the R is pointing). the outside stills stays rectangular, it's just the inner part i am looking to curve while still keeping the element a stair with railings following the shape.

While selecting stair use "Tab" key to toggle between selection options.
Use Boundary edit and NOT Baseline edit method. In boundary edit get the pet pallet by clicking on inner boundary and choose "Fillet" option from there. Hope this will solve your problem.

You have to edit the inner boundary of stair with Pet Pallet "Fillet" radius option

it's turning both inner and outer corners for me, what are you doing that it's letting you just fillet the inner corner?

The only issue with the Boundary edit option is that the structure is not modified so it does not really work if you have a monolithic structure...
