stairmaker stair with garbled text

Anonymous
Not applicable
I created this attached stair with stairmaker and it's displaying garbled text - I think it's supposed to be the number of risers, but what I really want is to just turn it off. I can't find any setting to do so when creating it or in object settings.

Any help appreciated!

-the site wouldn't let me upload a jpg so it's pdf

I'm at home at the moment b ut if I remember corectly, try turn off scale sensitivity in the stair's object parameters (not within Stairmaker).

That did it - I turned on "scale neutral symbol" and then selected what I wanted to see (treads & arrow) If I select details as well, the text comes back, but still garbled. Not sure why that is but I don't want it in this case so it's Ok for now.

Thanks!!!

Not sure, but the garbled text looks like a font issue to me. I think I would re-install Archicad to repair it and its connection with the system. If that doesn't work I think you have a Windows problem.

It does look like a font problem - I looked for a setting somewhere to set the font but didn't find one. And I'm not having any other font trouble. I'll dig around more and see what happens - hate to have to re-install if I can avoid it.

thanks!
