Does anyone know how to get standing seam metal roof to render without looking completely flat? Also board and batten siding? I am using AC-19 w/ cinerender - it looks quite nice in the model, but renders completely flat, almost as a solid color.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,

Thanks - that looks great! For as much as AC cost, why can't AC do that without an add on? Not sure I can stand to get yet another program - still can't use the ones I have purchased. Do you know if Cadimage works with AC 19?

Yes, they do have AC 19 version available. You can try it for 30 days for free if you want to see how it works. There is a bit of a learning curve for some of the more complicated situations about they do have quite a few videos on Youtube as well if you look them up. I use their Cladding tool all the time.
They have now gone to a subscription model so you can rent by the month if you want. However if after you have done a project and you decided to stop your subscription you would not be able to edit their objects until you resubscribed.
Cheers,
