I want to subtract one plyhon from another (in my case I have a wide slab and want to subtract an exist circle slab inside)
so how can I subtract an EXIST polygon from and another EXIST polygon

1. Select the wide slab.
2. Select the slab tool.
3. Hold down spacebar to activate magic wand.
4. Click on circular slab inside the wide slab, (either the edge or middle if nothing overlaps it.)
5. (Optional) A message may come up asking you to regularize or keep polygon, Click regularize or it may self-intersect.
Easy-peasy.
