terrain model help

Hello,

i was provided a .dwg file without any contour lines and only have elevation points in 2d. is it possible to still create a terrain 3d model using only these points without having to interpolate and draw in all of the contours lines?
if so, could someone walk me through the steps, this is my first terrain model.

This should be easy, once you have the lines with the elevations, I suppose the value of the elevation.
I recommend you to watch some youtube videos about the subject, and the vast help about the topic here in this list.

and remember a drawing worth a 1000 words, if you could add a sketch.
