text when hovering above icons disappeared

Hello!
I think I somehow accidentally turned off text popping up when hovering above tool icons, e.g. shell: extruded, ruled, revolved.
How can I get that text back again?

Help > Show Tooltips

If it says 'hide tooltips', then I think you might have some other setting turned off somewhere.
