Does any one knows if the wall framing add-on on the extras menu works on gable walls ?

sort of . . . attached image was just a quickie. the only change i made from the default settings was to turn on the option to 'use wall top edge'.

it really didn't like the junction between the gable/eave/side wall did it?

It would probably work better if the gable (upper) wall were a separate element.

yeah? junction looks butchered and it completely stuffed up the other end!

(admittedly i haven't been taking too much care and attention whilst generating these - just seeing if it was possible . . .)

Thank you guys for answering my question !

Well now another questions arises.

Since I'm new to the wood framing system do you believe this add on will give me all the design elements necesary on a wood framing system

Has anyone used this tool that comes in the AC9 package on a real project?

or should I get this other tool that sells for 499 Dlls.

I'm sure it won't do everything you want, but it may get you close enough. You'll have to try it out to see how it fits your particular needs.
