Can anyone help me with creating walls that appear white color in shade mode? I have selected "white" wall material with the sun shining on it but the model still appear to be grey. Thanks.

What have you used for sun settings? How intense?

Dwight,

I set Sunlight to 100% intensity.
Contribution to Ambient 50%
Fog to Middle.
Ambient Light 50%
Material colour is Surf White

Changing the Ambient light 3 seems to have no effect on the colours.

Remove the fog.

Amen.

And: Give your Sunlight a slight yellow color and your ambient a slight blue color.

This won't make the wall pure white but it will look nicer.

Thanks guys. Adding colours and turning off fog still didn't work.

Is that critical to have it white in shade mode or in rendering ? If you want it white-white add some value in emission. Test it. Basically 3D window is for working and preview not for final effects. And remember white is always only in the brightest areas, anywhere else it's a bit grey.
