why i can not change the width of complex wall

Hi i have a question about why we can not change the width of wall of complex structure as provided in the picture below

Complex Profiles cannot be made smaller than their original drawing shape, so you will need to redraw the profile, making it as small as the smallest size you will use. The profile can always be made larger.
