Hello together,

I've the phenomena today, that if I put a link to another topic in a reply in the (design) forum...... the reply seems to get deleted in the next moment.

Why this?

Your messages were all being trapped by the spam filter - I have released one of them now.

I am not sure exactly why as it doesn't say.

But it is because of the link you added to the post.

Probably because in the post title you used capitals and spaces.

You will probably find that post may have been detected as spam as well, but one of the moderators released it as there was nothing harmful in it.

But the spam filter will look at what you have linked to and probably still thinks it is spam, as that is the kind of thing spammers do to trick the spam filters (doesn't work here!).

It may take us a little while to notice the posts trapped in the spam filter.

But it will get released if not harmful.

Thank you for this detailed explanation of what was going on...
... and thank you too for releasing the post.

Think it's a good thing to have a spam filter here. 👍

What kind of links does Graphisoft allows? Usually, any links that are out of the discussions are considered as spam. I am not sure about Graphisoft. Let me know.

I am not sure of the exact rules as I am not privy to those.

Generally links to other posts are OK, but not in this case it seems, maybe because of the format of the post title.

External links may be OK, but it depends what they link too.

Too many links in a post will probably be marked as spam.

The formatting of text in a title or message of a post can also cause it to be marked as spam.

Once again we see in this example, that 'artificial intelligence' can be useful...
.. but will never reach the natural one. 🤔
