Dear Community Members,
We are happy to announce that we reached the first milestone of our Community site getting an updated look. Allow us to introduce you to this project and what you can expect from it.
In 2025, Graphisoft started rolling out its new branding, which includes new colors, fonts and updated look that better aligns with the brand message. Part of this update we not only update graphisoft.com, but other Graphisoft websites as well, including Graphisoft Community.
Let us collect here all the changes we included this time, apart from the new colors and fonts.
We updated the heading of our pages, so that they can help you navigate even easier while taking less space than before. We introduced coloring by categories, e.g. every page under the Forum is colored teal while all pages under Building Together are colored blue. They also became sticky, which means that when you scroll on a page, the header section is still visible, just reduced in size. This way you can easily track on which page you’re currently.
Before
After
We also moved the important buttons, such as “Subscribe” and “Create a topic” into the header, so it is easy to spot them and they have a consistent place on the pages.
We took the chance and reviewed the most visited page types on the site and improved them to offer a cleaner look for you.
Before
After
Take a visit and check them out!
With the new design we remove the option for the compact mode.
Functionality of Community is staying the same. All your profile related settings (except compact mode) will be kept as they were.
Considering the size and complexity of the Community, we expect that there will be things that might not look good after our first release. We are committed to fix things and looking for your feedback!
Leave a reply on this topic with a screenshot or a screen recording and a short explanation of what should be improved.
Kind regards,
Noémi

Personally, I like the bold font and its size, it looks good graphically, clearly and modern to me.
But I agree that the change from black to dark gray is hardly visible in threads that have already been read.

I´m now visiting the forum at 80% zoom to get smaller fonts. It kind of works: threads list is ok, but the messages text is slighly small.

Read vs. Unread posts
Dear Community Members,
We’ve received feedback that it can be difficult to distinguish between read and unread posts. We’d love your help to improve this. 🙂
Which version makes it easier for you to tell them apart?
Before
After
This logic will also appear on the Knowledge Base articles page.
Please let us know which version works better for you.
Thank you,
Eszter Fülöp

If it was up to me I would have the unread post bold and black with a grey background - so they are the ones that stand out.
The read post normal and grey with no background.
The background fill/colour could be a little darker as well, as I find it is almost invisible now and little difference to the posts with no background.
Barry.

Eszter Fulop:
The After version is better, greater distinction between unread and read posts, like before the revamp. Thank you.

Following from Barry's comment, the contrast ratio on my old second monitor is not high enough to show that light grey.

I think the after-version is definitely better.
Thank you very much.

Great. "After" version. Thanks!

Is there a trick to find out which pages of a thread have unread posts and how many of them are there? When I click on the thread title on the main forum page (Hot topics), the last unread post opens, but there may be more in the discussion tree and I don't know how to find them without painstakingly clicking through the entire thread and reading the time for each post.

If I understand your problem correctly, that is why I use linear format in my preferences.
The threaded view makes it very difficult to follow large threads
