Computer generated design

Hi,
I would like to create building layouts generated by a computer. Given the input data Grasshopper creates the most optimal layout for apartements and show it in Archicad.
Is this possible?

I think it is possible in theory, but in my opinion it would require a very complex Grasshopper Visual Script.
Grasshopper can generate all types of building element types in ARCHICAD, you just have to tell it exactly what and where and how.

Ok, it would be really fun to compare a data driven design with a human design. Daylight, building regulations, sun heat, spaces, fire regulation, all in place and even the best layout. Soon perhaps...
