Annotation in schedule - Grid Snap automatically turn on when going into Element preview.

We have a problem that Grid Snap turns on by itself when going into an Element Preview when you are trying to make an annotation in an schedule. 

Anyone experienced something similar? Found an old topic discussing the same problem but they did not seem to find a solution.
