Can someone please explain to a NEW Mac/Archicad User how to open Multiple Instances of archicad/Plotmaker V9

Simply copy the application files (ie. ArchiCAD & PlotMaker) in your OS!

and these new copies should be renamed like "ArchiCAD 2," say.

if you put the icons in the dock, it is easy to drag the second file onto the new icon to open it so the first application doesn't get confused and try to close the first file.

If you use Quicksilver ( check Versiontraker) you can launch as many sessions as you want without having to make a copy of AC.
