We are looking at completing our transition from mapped network drives on the server to contemporary files stores... Deltek PIM and Teams/sharepoint/onedrive.
One of the last uses for our mapped drives is for files that are referenced in Archicad - modules and external drawings.
We have BIMcloud and a few have used the full functionality are are publishing / linking mods to the BIMcloud and also external drawings.
Aside from the having everything Archicad in the same location and versioning capabilities I am wanting to highlight other benefits (or drawbacks).
Is there any speed increase? Having the both the teamwork model and referenced files on the same server - is that quicker, is the technology better?
I wish you could drag and drop from normal file explore to BIMcloud
