Deleting Zone Categories Causes Archicad to Crash

Aaron Bourgoin
Virtuoso

I am unable to delete unused Zone Categories without the file crashing. Have tried this via the Zone Categories dialog and via the Attribute Manager.

Has anyone else experienced this? If yes, have you been able to figure out a solution?

I assume you are talking about version 27?

I just tried (Windows machine) from zone categories dialogue and it did not crash.

I only have build 5030, have not yet upgraded to 5060.

I am running into the same problem when using AC27. I just downloaded 28 and haven't tried there yet. Anyone ever find a fix for this?

This is still happening for me. This needs to be addressed ASAP as it is wasting so much time and hot linking is next to useless.

Is there any way that Graphisoft can respond to state that they are looking into this? I feel that issues like this are just ignored.

This has nothing to do with hotlinking, so I don't know why that was mentioned here.

Have you reported this to your local support and discussed it with them?

That is what they are there for.

Can confirm that the file I was most recently having crashing issues in AC27, I opened in AC28 and was able to delete the Zone Categories without issue.
