Design Options palette not "sticking" in Work Environment

I recently updated the Workspace Scheme of my daily Work Environment profile to include the Design Options palette, neatly docked where I want it among other palettes on the right side of my screen (everything is docked). However, when I apply my profile, the Design Options palettes becomes undocked, and jumps around on the screen (typically to the bottom right corner, if that matters).

Does anyone know why just one of my palettes moves when I apply my WE profile? Thanks!

Must be a bug - here is something I noticed recently:

I have two Work Environment profiles (one for when I'm using an external monitor, and one for when I'm remote and have just the integral laptop screen). Only the external monitor WE profile contains the Design Options palette.

  1. If my "Laptop size" profile is active, and I switch to the "External Monitor" one, the Design Options palette goes to the right spot - no issues here.
    • In this scenario, the DO palette is deactivated originally, then appears during the WE profile activation.
  2. However, if I'm currently using the "External Monitor" profile, and resize a palette or accidentally close one, and want to reset the profile, that's when the Design Options palette shoots to the corner of the screen.
    • In this scenario, the DO palette is active already, and continues to be visible during the WE profile activation.
