Hello,
I'm trying to 'place mesh from surveyors data' by importing the .txt file including the X Y and Z coordinates. But I keep getting an error sound [no error message].
I've read several articles and have tried formatting the .txt to delete errors or allow Archicad to read it, but it's not working.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
.txt file attached.

No problems with this file on my v26 INT. Successful import without any txt tweaking:

Maybe the terrain was imported and you just need to turn the corresponding layer on and zoom out, if you have placed the terrain to real world coordinates.

Thank you for the help - embarrassed to say I was trying to place it with an unknown layer... works perfectly now.
Could you advise me on how to edit/ manipulate the mesh accurately if I was to propose some landscape/ground works to flatten an area for a new house?

There is some good workflow material available on the web. Here is one interesting series which includes earthworks.
