Fill translation problems

Hello I'm having troubles making new fills after upgrading to Archicad 18. In archicad 17 my firm made a standard fill for each building material. like concrete is squares in an angle and so on... but when io draw them as a new fill they show a solid fill don't understand why. I have made custom fills myself and everything looks as it should in element attributes. hope someone can help

Check that you don't have an override set in either Model View Options or Renovation Filters which could alter the display of fills.

if i copy a fill into my template it desplays normally

weird that it despays a fill that is copied when there was an override on in model view options
