Hotlink multiple module

Hi, just one short question, can i hotlinked 3 module whitout take in case the stories floors ?

Basically yes, since I assume you are talking about the project in your other thread. When you bring the modules into the master file, you can elevate each module to whatever height you want.

If aspects of each module are on multiple stories, then you'll have to hotlink each story in separately in order to reposition things if the story heights differ at all between module and master files.

So when, i make each module/flat, what tool do i use (see attachment) ?

If Merge (Fusionner) and Place Hotlinked Module are gray / disabled as in your screenshot, then you are either in the 3D window, or if you are in the 2D window, you are the middle of drawing something with a tool.

Your screenshot shows that you are in the 3D window.

You must place your module in plan view (2D). You can then drag it horizontally to align with your other modules as desired. THEN, you can open 3D and and elevate the module to the proper height relative to everything else.

Note: You can create a special layer to control the visibility of each module. So, while each module has walls in the WALLS layer, if the master layer for each module is unique - MODULE A, MODULE B, MODULE C - you can turn all walls off in all modules, but hiding the WALLS layer - or you can turn the entire B module off by hiding the MODULE B layer. This is called the "Master Layer" in the Place Module dialog ... which you will see when you try to place your module from 2D/plan view.

Well, your stories will in essence be disabled if you only have one of them. 🙂

Karl, thanks you very much for your precious help.

With hotlink tools i put 2 modul in one master files. And with the screenshot, see my actual problem, and the hot point (point chaud) are gray ... If a change the story that affect the first module on the left.
I try many things, but, at the end, it looks like sh*t.

You're welcome. But, I don't see the problem? You should be able to move the module freely in space.

Maybe it is a grouping problem: you must NOT have grouping suspended when you try to move a module. Nothing will happen. Enable grouping, and the module can be moved. (Note, too, just for interest that the grouping hotspots for hotlinked modules are small squares, as opposed to small circles for normal groups.)

Also, if your modules have multiple stories, then you must link them in story by story, not as a multi-story hotlink (single hotlink) as you will not be able to move each floor to the desired location in the host / master file.
