Hi!
I have attached an ifc to my project as hotlink with linked lcf. library. Now I would like to change the floorplan appearance, but the settings seem to be entirely locked. Is there any workaround for this?
Thanks, Petr

It is not possible to modify elements of a Hotlinked Module in the file in which they are placed. Internally, they behave as a locked group that cannot be unlocked and ungrouped.
However, it may be possible to apply Graphic Overrides to them to change their 2D/3D appearance or graphical representation if that is what you are trying to achieve.

Thanks for the reply Laszlo,
I was after making some elements appear on other floors, which as far as I know is not possible via GO. Isn't it though possible to set the floor plan appearance in the ifc file and then update the hotlink?

as @Laszlo Nagy mentioned: its not possible to modify ifc elements that are imported as a hotlink.
what you might wanna try - not sure if it will work though:
in your screenshot the modelling tool used is an object. so before importing / refreshing your ifc, deselect all elements, doubleclick your object tool and preset the floorplan appeareance to your option of choice and click ok. then refresh or reimport your ifc modell.
if this works it will affect all elements that are imported as objects from the ifc.
