Importing favorites and missing layers

Hi everyone
A co-worker shared his favorites with me under AC23 and after importing them in my drawings, all the default layers of the favorites are missing altough they exist in the drawing. I don't see myself updating each and every of them to re-assign the original layer. Has anyone face that issue ? Thank you.

I would be guessing that the layer attribute numbers are different in the file that the attributes were created in and your file.
The only way to know for sure would be to compare the 2 files.

You may have the same layer names, but if they are different attribute numbers and those numbers aren't in your file, then the favourite layers will appear as "missing".

Archicad really doesn't care about the attribute names, it is the attribute number that Archicad refers to.

The easiest way to fix it if you like your current layer set-up, is unfortunately to go through and edit all of the favourites.
You can select multiple favourites at the same time and edit just the layer - nothing else will be affected.
