Interior Elevation Tool - Grid Won't Go Away

I'm using the Interior Elevation tool to elevate a room which has a Grid Element passing through it on the floor plan. Although the grid is on A-GRID on the floor plan, it is on ArchiCAD Layer in the elevation, and I can't turn it off. I don't want to see grids in my elevations. In addition, the faded hotspots indicate that the layer is locked, but I can't unlock it. Even if I hide the grid layer in the current layer configuration, the grid still shows up in the elevation. I can't seem to get rid of it. Any ideas?

I'm sure you've checked to obvious, seeing if that one grid line, (or a copy of it) is really on the ArchiCad layer?
Jay,
A few thoughts come to mind:
1) Are you using the latest Grid tool APX? (Check the Goodies page.)
2) You can alway use the Section/Elevation tool to generate the elevations, and that has an explicit checkbox for the grid tool.

Yup. It's on A-GRID on the floor plan, but shows up on ArchiCAD Layer in the interior elevation.

Yes, I'm using the set that goes with patch 1210.

That's the way I've always done it in the past, but I thought the smaller marker of the new Interior Elevation tool would look better. Silly me! I thought it would work right out of the box!

Through a complete accident, I found the answer. If I have the A-GRID layer locked and I'm viewing an Interior Elevation, ArchiCAD will show the grids on the ArchiCAD Layer layer regardless of whether A-GRID is showing or hidden. If the A-GRID layer is unlocked, it will show the grids on the A-GRID layer. So, if I want to turn off the grids in an Interior Elevation, I must hide the A-GRID layer, but not lock the A-GRID grid layer.

It's a feature, not a bug.
