is there a quicker way to add layer extensions to all or a selected number of layers?

it just got really annoying having to rename every single layer one by one.

I would like to say yes, as i have been saying this as a wish for many versions. Hopefully someday graphisoft might get around to providing this!

A very small way to speed it up is to use Attribute manager instead of the layer dialogue. Its just seems easier to copy and past the extension than in the layer dialogue.
